There are so many people and organizations that we need to thank for their assistance and contributions in making this event come together.
First and foremost, our students and their families. Their faithful commitment to lessons and individual practice nurtures growth in both music and dance, reflecting the heart of what we do—sharing in the joy of music and dance while helping one another grow.
We appreciate the administration and staff at JACC, Darla, the Director, and Kevin and Cheryl, who have always been so gracious, supportive and wonderful to work with.
We are extremely grateful to have had a professional Celtic fiddler of Arvid Lundin’s caliber, the excellent musicianship of David Thoits, and the creative performers of the Whittemore Sisters, all performing together at this event.
We are thankful to family and friends for stepping in for the setup and take down crew. Their generosity of spirit is priceless.
Dr. Spradley has been very gracious in sharing his knowledge and teaching people about health and wellness and has been instrumental in helping us with our health. It was wonderful to have him give a short talk with Mrs. LaBrake on the importance of a healthy lifestyle and quality supplementation. We are also very grateful to Kurtis Thornton of Three International who has also been supportive in our mission for better heath.

About Emerald Tide Academy
Emerald Tide Academy is a family-run music, dance, and performance school founded by husband-and-wife team Elizabeth and Dominic LaBrake. We provide high-quality instruction in classical violin, Irish fiddle, and Irish dance for students of all ages.
Rooted in our Catholic faith and Irish heritage, we aim to cultivate not only artistic excellence but also strong values, confidence, and character that last a lifetime.
The Emerald Tide story began in Minnesota (1999–2009) as a vibrant Irish music and dance group created by the Sunderman siblings. Performing up to 60 shows a year, they brought Celtic arts to audiences of all sizes across the Midwest. After a decade of touring, the family retired the show—until its revival.
In 2022, Elizabeth and Dominic brought Emerald Tide back to life, expanding it into a full Academy, and in 2024 welcomed their daughter, Abigail. Today, they combine decades of performance experience with a passion for teaching, inspiring the next generation with excellence, creativity, and timeless values.
